Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters with framing, formwork, and finish carpentry
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized work sites following OSHA standards
- Load/unload materials and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Adhere to project timelines and quality control requirements
- Report safety hazards and maintenance needs immediately
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued ID and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (6 AM start times)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven surfaces
