Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, welders) as needed
- Complete daily timesheets and safety checklists accurately
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or trade experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexible availability for 6-12 hour shifts (4-6 days/week)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
