Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to project timelines and requirements
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for job completion
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate job documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with residential and commercial electrical systems
- Familiarity with NEC codes and Louisiana building regulations
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation and basic hand/tools
