Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Collaborate with contractors and clients on project specifications
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain detailed work records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State electrician license (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit troubleshooting, and load calculations
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
