Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NYC building codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of residential/commercial projects
- Conduct safety inspections and implement electrical safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain accurate service documentation
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification and NFPA 70E knowledge
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Strong understanding of NYC electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
