Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures per NEC standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and local building codes
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers on complex installations
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for project efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician license (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience in PLC systems and VFDs
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces at heights
