Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Shadow and support experienced technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly handle, maintain, and use electrical hand tools and power equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin training to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Wire & Cable Handling: Assist in pulling wires, labeling circuits, and terminating connections under supervision.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and providing updates on project progress.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in adherence to OSHA and company standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience is required. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
