Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, outlet installation, and lighting fixture setup under close supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Report any potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
- Adhere to all local building codes and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred).
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in the electrical trade.
