Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and circuits to ensure safety and functionality.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Document work completed and report any issues to the foreman immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred (but not mandatory for immediate start).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- A strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills are helpful for measurements and calculations.
