Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Shadow experienced team members to learn installation, repair, and maintenance techniques.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by laying out materials, digging trenches, and setting up ladders.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; ensure tools are properly maintained.
- Basic Installations: Assist with the installation of wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and outlets.
- Reading Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical schematics and building plans under supervision.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with clients professionally, maintaining a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to enter the electrical trade and willingness to be trained.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for travel to job sites.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required if trade school experience is present.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and calculations.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
