Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, bending conduit, and mounting outlets and switches.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to strict OSHA safety regulations.
- Learn to utilize various hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment for daily job assignments.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to obtain an Electrical Journeyman license within the state of California.
- Basic math skills are essential for wire calculations and measurements.
- Must be physically capable of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- A strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety are mandatory.
