Responsibilities
- Assist in Electrical Installations: Support senior electricians in residential and commercial wiring, fixture installation, and circuit connections.
- Site Preparation & Safety: Prepare job sites by organizing materials, setting up temporary power, and ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and verify electrical supplies, conduit, and tools for daily operations.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools clean, organized, and in proper working condition to ensure efficiency.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel to various project locations within Philadelphia, PA, and Northern Virginia.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate job logs and paperwork as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED preferred; we prioritize attitude and work ethic over prior technical skills.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic calculations for electrical work.
- Communication: Ability to listen to instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the crew.
