Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and gathering necessary tools and materials.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components and circuits.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Document work orders and materials used accurately.
- Operate power tools, test equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics (training provided).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to craftsmanship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
