Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment and wiring.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot common electrical issues under supervision.
- Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and digging trenches as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills are a plus.
