Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly handle, maintain, and organize all electrical tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials, clearing areas, and ensuring access for electrical equipment.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing simple electrical faults and perform routine testing of electrical components.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics, particularly fractions and measurements.
- Attitude: Strong desire to learn, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work well within a team.
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with no prior experience who are willing to commit to learning the trade.
