Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support senior electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on various job sites.
- Learn Blueprints: Study and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams under supervision.
- Basic Installation: Perform basic wiring, mounting of outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers regarding project timelines and basic status updates.
- Code Adherence: Learn to identify and comply with local and national electrical codes.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Work Ethic: Strong willingness to learn, physical stamina, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Soft Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
