As a key member of our growing team, you will work alongside experienced professionals on residential and commercial projects across the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Shadow and support senior technicians on-site to gain hands-on practical knowledge.
- Install Electrical Systems: Help with the installation of wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining existing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all OSHA and local building codes to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Tool Management: Properly handle, clean, and maintain electrical tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: None required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
