Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare Work Sites: Lay out materials, prepare surfaces, and ensure the work area is safe and organized.
- Install Systems: Learn to install, repair, and maintain lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and conduits.
- Perform Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic electrical issues under supervision.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Strictly follow OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep personal tools and work equipment clean, sharp, and in good working order.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for eagerness to learn and a willingness to train the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver’s License: Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics for reading measurements and blueprints.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
