Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety compliance and system efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license in Texas.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and strong problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
