Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Install, repair, and maintain lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Prepare materials for projects, including cutting, stripping, and terminating wire.
- Educate clients on energy-efficient solutions and system maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- No prior experience required—we provide full paid training for qualified candidates.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
