Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools as directed.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Handle and transport heavy materials and tools safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience required – we provide training for motivated candidates.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications (we will assist with this).
