Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety codes (OSHA, NEC).
- Test electrical systems to verify proper operation and troubleshoot faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Document all work performed and report any equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is required; we are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and the desire to be trained.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights).
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
