Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or necessary adjustments.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to ensure proper installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with the project manager to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary state certifications.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
