Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work sequences.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers regarding progress and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain necessary Journeyman or Apprentice licenses and certifications as required by the state.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
