Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan wiring layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project status and explaining technical details clearly.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the project management team to identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (required for travel to job sites).
- Willingness to obtain necessary state electrical licenses and certifications.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating electrical loads.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- A strong willingness to learn and a positive, safety-first attitude.
