Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members in residential and commercial wiring installations, including panel upgrades, lighting, and outlet replacements.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical plans to understand project requirements accurately.
- Perform Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by organizing tools and materials after each task.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project progress and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; technical trade school coursework is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; Apprenticeship or entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Driver’s License: Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record required for site travel.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and occasional overtime as needed.
