Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform Basic Installation: Install conduits, wires, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Conduct Inspections: Help identify potential safety hazards and ensure work meets local building codes.
- Maintain Tools: Properly handle, clean, and maintain electrical tools and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by moving materials and setting up ladders or scaffolding.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for travel to job sites.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of fractions and measurements is a plus.
