Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Install, connect, and test wiring, circuits, and fixtures (lighting, outlets, switches).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain required state licensing (Apprentice or Journeyman) within the specified timeframe.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
