Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial wiring installations.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as mounting outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Prepare and organize job sites, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites efficiently.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
