Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn & Develop: Participate in hands-on training to understand circuitry, wiring, and safety protocols under expert supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering materials, organizing tools, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin training to interpret electrical blueprints and schematic drawings to plan work effectively.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and maintaining a positive company image.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience required; we teach you the trade from the ground up.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (but not strictly required for the right candidate).
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but we provide professional equipment once hired.
