Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Load & Unload Materials: Safely transport and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, laying down tarps, and ensuring safety protocols are met.
- Basic Testing: Utilize multimeters and other testing equipment to verify circuit integrity under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Background: No criminal history that would prevent obtaining a security clearance.
