Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Learn to interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts and circuit requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle wire pulling, cable management, and basic soldering under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any potential issues.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national electrical codes and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
