Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, managing tools and materials efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
