Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Learn and apply best practices for energy efficiency and green technology integration.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for exceptional candidates.
- Basic math skills and the ability to measure and calculate dimensions accurately.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
