Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform routine site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Install and terminate wiring, conduit, and electrical fixtures to code specifications.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe environment.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely for various electrical tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- A strong desire to learn and a positive attitude towards training.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating electrical loads.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
