Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential/commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Conduit bending, wire pulling, and device installation under supervision
- Adhere to strict safety protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights (up to 30ft)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Omaha metro area
- Willingness to obtain Nebraska electrical license within 18 months
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
