Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsAssist senior electricians with conduit bending, wiring, and fixture installation
- Adhere to strict safety standards and electrical codes (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills development training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (company-sponsored)
- Reliable transportation for job sites across DC/VA
- Pass background check and drug screening
