Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Prepare work areas, tools, and materials for daily tasks to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from service trucks.
- Perform basic conduit bending, wiring, and fixture installation under direct supervision.
- Follow strict safety protocols and report any potential hazards immediately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for local travel.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy tools and materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but not required.
