Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites efficiently and safely.
- Prepare surfaces and materials for electrical installation under close supervision.
- Document work performed and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physically capable of standing, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine desire to learn the electrical trade.
