Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Shadow and assist senior technicians with residential and commercial wiring projects.
- Learn Installation: Gain hands-on experience installing electrical systems, conduits, and fixtures under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Study and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform Safety Checks: Help maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Tools & Maintenance: Learn to use and maintain standard electrical hand tools and test equipment.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards after each workday.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn a trade and a commitment to professional growth.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic mathematics and measurements.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
