Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Support Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare Job Sites: Organize tools, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- System Testing: Assist in the testing of electrical components and circuits to verify proper operation.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including removing debris and securing tools after use.
- Documentation: Help complete necessary paperwork and job reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a genuine passion for the electrical trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and measurements.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (required for site travel).
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and focused on safety and quality workmanship.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
