Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize work areas, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for the job.
- Install conduits, wiring, and electrical components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal trade school education required (Apprenticeship program available).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on job sites.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating material quantities.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
