Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, stripping conductors, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely under direct supervision.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Document work performed and report progress to senior staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (essential for electrical calculations).
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses.
- Strong desire to learn, problem-solve, and work as part of a team.
