Responsibilities
- Learn and assist in residential and commercial electrical installations under the guidance of certified journeymen.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as directed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to strict safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn: No prior experience is necessary, but a strong desire to master the trade is essential.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and calculations.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to follow instructions from senior staff.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable work history.
