Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Material Preparation: Help gather, organize, and transport tools, wire, and materials to job sites.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Learning & Observation: Actively observe and learn about blueprints, wiring diagrams, and local electrical codes (NEC).
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in basic testing of circuits and identifying common electrical faults under supervision.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for raw potential and a strong work ethic. Prior electrical experience is not necessary.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and be willing to travel to various job sites in the Fort Worth area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculating material needs.
- High School Diploma/GED: Required. Technical school or vocational training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
