Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment according to the job plan.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels, fixtures, and wiring.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Document all work performed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics is helpful for blueprint reading.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
