Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Material Preparation: Gather, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Wiring & Installation: Help pull wire, install conduit, and mount electrical fixtures and devices under close supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring all tools are accounted for and equipment is in good working order.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- No Prior Experience Required: We are looking for raw talent and a strong work ethic; formal experience is not mandatory.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for field work.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in tasks.
- Communication Skills: Basic ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
