Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Prepare work areas by gathering materials, tools, and safety equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Keep the work site clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal training required—attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
