Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company guidelines strictly at all times.
- Clean up work sites and organize tools after every job to ensure efficiency.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience required. A strong willingness to learn and physical stamina is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
- Soft Skills: Must possess a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Background: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
