As an Apprentice, you will work under the mentorship of certified master electricians, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement.
- Strong desire to learn the trade with a positive attitude.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
